There isn't
much that really
needs said here. This may be the very best zombie film, if not the best
horror film of all time. George Romero pretty much created the genre
and continues it here in his second "Dead" film. The slowness of the
film was what made it great for me. It really took the time needed for
us to understand the characters and the world they live in. In essence
that idea is one of the greatest inspirations behind Dead Planet. It's
about people trying to live their lives normally while dealing with
something like this. And here it was portrayed perfectly. (I would
however have loved to see the downer ending.) My film reviews are often long because I have something to complain in detail about. Sorry to disappoint, but there really isn't anything here. OH! WAIT!! Chef Boyardee colored blood...Thats about it. |
